Monsoon brings to us joy, serenity and a soothing feeling in our lives. What it also brings with itself is a lot of diseases. Kids are at greater risk of falling ill during this season. Apart from this, diseases lead to various physical and mental illness in children.

The various diseases that happen in Monsoon can easily be prevented by taking a few remedial measures. If we become a little aware, we can significantly reduce the outbreak of these diseases.

In monsoon, increase your intake of Vitamin-C. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables in this season. Vitamin-C not only increases our immunity to germs but also reduces our proneness to fever and cold.

Refrain from constantly getting drenched in the rain. If you get drenched somehow, don’t wear your damp clothes for long and bath again.

Drink a lot of warm water- After getting drenched in the rain, taking a bath after coming home, and changing into dry clothes, drink some soup or warm milk. This will help the body temperature stay in control and prevent you from falling ill.
